We are a team of 3 veterinary surgeons and 4 veterinary nurses. We all have a passion for all pets no matter how
big or small , whether it be fur, feathered or scales.

Bairbre O'Malley - Veterinary Surgeon MVB CertVR MRCVS

'Bairbre O'Malley - Veterinary Surgeon MVB CertVR MRCVS' image Bairbre O'Malley has over twenty five years' experience as a veterinary surgeon and has worked throughout Australia, the UK and Ireland. She spent 10 years working in London's busiest casualty veterinary hospital where she featured regularly on the BBC1 'Animal Hospital' series. She then spent a year lecturing in the Royal Veterinary College on exotics medicine and surgery. In 2002 she opened this veterinary hospital in Bray treating dogs and cats and also birds, reptiles and small mammals. » read more

 

Claire Greene - Veterinary Surgeon, MVB GpCertExAP

'Claire Greene - Veterinary Surgeon, MVB GpCertExAP' image Claire graduated from UCD in 2007 and joined O'Malley Veterinary Hospital in July 2014. She is recently returned from 3 years running a small animal practice in London where she completed her General Practitioner Certificate in Exotic Animal Medicine with the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies. A bit of a change after working 4 years in the wilds of Connemara followed by 6 months near Fiji in the South Sea Islands. » read more

 

Helena Moran , Veterinary Surgeon , MVB

'Helena Moran , Veterinary Surgeon , MVB' image Helena qualified from UCD and has just joined our hospital after working for a few years in very busy small animal hospital in Anglesey, North Wales. She has a special interest in surgery and diagnostic imaging of cats and dogs and now of course exotic pets. She also loves a feline challenge as she is the proud owner of Oreo, a diabetic cat. Helena is an avid baker and loves hiking and playing the piano. » read more

 

Stephen - Veterinary Nurse

'Stephen - Veterinary Nurse' image Stephen has worked at the hospital since 2009 and qualified with a degree in veterinary nursing from UCD on 2015. During the past 4 years he has worked here part time while studying full time and still retained a sense of humour. » read more

 

Leonie - Veterinary Nurse

'Leonie - Veterinary Nurse' image Leonie qualified as a veterinary nurse from UCD . She has worked in small animal practice in Greystones and in large animal practice in Roun wood. She spends her spare time looking after her four large dogs, hand rearing orphan lambs on the family sheep farm and flying small planes. » read more

'Lauren - Veterinary Nurse' image ┬áLauren has worked here as a part time veterinary nurse over the past 2 years and has just joined us full time after qualifying with a degree in veterinary nursing from UCD. Lauren loves working with all animals but has a particular soft spot for guinea pigs. » read more

 

Katerina - Veterinary Nurse

'Katerina - Veterinary Nurse' image Katerina, known as 'Kat' comes from Slovakia where she first qualified a medical nurse. She has lived in Ireland over 17 years where she spent many years nursing humans before realising her true vocation lay with animals. Kat has a degree in veterinary nursing from Athlone (AIT) and joined our hospital team in 2015. She has a menagerie of pets but has a particular passion for rabbits and is known as our 'rabbit whisperer'. » read more
