Q: We have just got a new baby rabbit - what vaccination do they need?

A: Rabbits need a course of two vaccinations. We start at 8 weeks of age with myxomatosis and then give Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD) vaccination two weeks later. Both diseases are very common in Ireland every year and are fatal.
